Way to go Maddi!!

Today was the end of the year awards assembly for the Middle School. Tomorrow is the last day of school!!! WOO HOO! Maddi won the medal around her neck for a citizenship award. One of the final awards was a "special award". They announced that there was one recipient of the S. Travis Barnett award (I'm still trying to find out who this person was). She was completely surprised and caught off guard when her name was called as the winner. As she walked to the stage, she was still trying to figure out what the award was. We're proud of her hard work this year. She's the student that every teacher enjoys having. She brightens the class room with her smile and kindness. She is completely thrilled to have a plaque "like Dad's." We are excited for you Maddi, keep up the hard work!!

Another catch up post here. Lauryn braved the " dripping blood, and knife stabbing pain" and got her ears pierced. She was quite hesitant about the pain. For those of you that really know Lauryn, she gets a bit queasy, light headed and nearly passes out with pain.
I thought at this point she was going to bail on us.
The kids brought her stuffed animals from the shelves
Whew!! It's over and now nearly 2 months later, she still loves her earrings.
You can see just how scared she was in the video.

Brilee's Gymnastic's recital

This past month the girls had their recitals. They both did fantastic, showing off what they've learned through the year.

Gymnastics is something they both enjoy doing. Great job Brilee!

NJHS

Look who was inducted into NJHS!! Maddi has worked very hard to get to this point. With teachers that understand and work with her, and many hours of hard work she made it!!!
The word NJHS is tapped on her shoulders.
She's hiding.

We are very proud of you Maddi!! Keep up the hard work.
