We knew snow was in the forecast but didn't think we'd get this much. It isn't really a lot but for us, it's plenty! The most excitement we've had in 8 months was when I got the phone call this morning. "Babe, I'm in a ditch." "Are you joking?" No, he wasn't joking! "Mr. SLOW DOWN, You can't take the corner that fast" ended up in a ditch. As we exit the village, there is a hill that he slid off. Nothing bad, just a huge knock to his ego. His little car is terrible on slick roads. He said as he was driving, the vehicle up ahead had slid but lucked out. A neighbor drove by and asked if he needed help. He told Mike that he'd slid sideways and went back to get his wife's Volvo SUV. I loaded the kids in the van but before we headed out, he called to say a nice man stopped and said he'd get the tractor and be back in 10 minutes. I still had to brave the weather so I could capture the moment and razzz him (as if he needed it). He didn't seem to think that was such a funny idea but we were both laughing when I arrived. I found the situation to be extremely funny. Especially since he was still stuck in the car. Of course I laugh when I'm sad, scared and hurt. So, luckily he wasn't hurt because it would've been hard to keep a straight face. The car seems to be fine, the wheels jiggle a bit when he drives but that could be because they are filled with mud. :-) Please excuse my ugly laugh in the videos, I couldn't help myself!

That is too funny. Your laugh makes it even funnier.
Thanks! I can't wait for Mike to get home from work. He's just going to love the blog!
I was laughing right along with you Traci, but Dan said it wasn't funny, because he feels bad for Mike. Also, love the German BMW! Just a little jealous!!
Yeah, we fell into the trap that most American's do here. The BMW's are very cheap but not the best on the road. It's a nice car just wish we'd have gotten maybe a Volvo or VW. Mike was glad to hear that someone sympathized with him.
WOW! When I watched the movie and heard you laughing I loved it!! I am so glad I am not the only that laughs when I am scared, nervous etc... I can really relate to you on the Laughing in stressful situations :)
Oh by the way impressive snowman!!
O.K. I love the fact that you laugh! I laughed harder when I heard Mike say "I think I'm stuck". I wish I had a cheap car like that.
