Visiting with Aunt Martha aka Marsha

The past 4 days we've had Mike's aunt Martha (or Marsha as Dallin called her) visit us with her dear friend Joe. They stayed in our humble little bed-n- breakfast (bedroom) :-) They were in the middle of an awesome European trip which was getting ready to end with a 13 day cruise from Barcelona back to the states.
We visited with them in the evenings as they came back from day trips. We had a wonderful time with them, I know they enjoyed us too! :-)
On Friday I took them to visit Mike at work and to see the planes on the flight line. As usual, this visit did not disappoint! Joe is from New York and there happened to be a C-5 (the HUGE cargo plane) on the flight line from New York. They both sported smiles across their faces as they sat in the flight deck and saw the massive insides to this plane and it's precious cargo. It was also a humbling reminder of what this plane carries and delivers to our Men and Women serving in combat zones.
We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Garibaldi's Italian restaurant in Landstuhl that evening. It was made even more enjoyable spending it as adults. We miss them already and hope they enjoy the crusie back home. To those wanting to visit...we welcome you with open arms! We have the space and want you to come! We're a 10 minute drive from the train which makes day trips super easy.

It couldn't be quite as relaxing or fun. The only camels we have around here would be the wooden nativity ones. ha ha ha ha!But, you're welcome over here any time.
