Absolutely beautiful Sunday here today. We enjoyed bright sunshine before the clouds rolled in. Beauty surrounds us everywhere. I say it all the time, we are truly blessed to be allowed this opportunity to live in Germany. What memories we've made and will continue making until they drag us outta here kicking and screaming!
We just love our landlords. They own a large dairy here in the village. We walked over to visit the new calves. The son motioned us to quietly come inside the barn. We went in and were able to watch this little fella be born. What an amazing sight!
We stayed and watched for an hour as he tried and tried to get up. He was taken away to the igloo's outside the barn. They separate them from the mama's immediately. She mooed and mooed when they took her baby away. It made me sad for her.
This one is about 10 days old. She's a cutie!
Our first attempts at milking a cow. Boy did we have a blast! This was just minutes after we'd gotten splatted by a cow pie. Ewwww!
Maddi had it down just perfectly! I was a bit wild with my squirt and nailed Dallin in the face. What a wonderful ending to our beautiful Sabbath.

Oh what a fun experience you guys had. I am so glad that we got the opportunity to see some of these places and meet the wonderful people there in Germany. Your landlord's are such wonderful kind people. Keep the camera rolling...it sure is good to see the kiddos!!Thank you Taylortots for the sweet compliments! We had a marvelous time, also!! The Smiths are very lucky people to have great friends like you and the ward in which everyone speaks so kindly and with love about them!!
