Opening her friends present before we headed out to go swimming for her birthday fun
Maddi has been waiting to turn 12 for a long time. She has talked about being in Young Women's for month's now ever since her friend Maddy Taylor's birthday last year. She turned 12 on Wednesday and was able to go to the activity which was on that evening. She was absolutely thrilled! This Sunday she received her For the Strength of the Youth booklet and her Personal Progress book. She brought her booklet's with her to school today. She is not afraid to tell others about what is important to her. She is a shining example to our family on how to love others and be Christ Like. Maddi has always loved to bear her testimony and does so faithfully each month. We are proud of her because she is courageous. She has gone through and will go through many trials in her life. She pulls through with a smile on her face at each hurdle.
Speaking of hurdles, school hasn't always been easy for Maddi. BUT, finally with some help and understanding from her teachers, she has made the honor roll for the first time EVER for Quarter 1 and Quarter 2!!! This quarter, she earned a sliver award for a GPA of 3.50-3.99. We are so very proud of her hard work. We love you Maddi, you make us proud to be your parents!

Sniff sniff. Mom thank you for the Birthday Party even though only 1 person went. Yes i've been talking about Young Womens for ever. You could really see how excited i was to go to Young Womens. I have alot of things to accomplish in my young womens book because well there's 10 hour projects in every subject. I love you Mom So much.

Happy Birthday Maddi!! You are so beautiful and I can't believe what a good example you are. My daughter Adriana doesn't turn 12 until Sept. but they are letting her go to Girl's Camp. She is so excited. Twelve is such a special age.

We are so thrilled for your accomplishments and how hard you have been working on your grades!!! Congratulations!!We feel so blessed to have a sweet and darling granddaughter that sets an example for everyone she meets that she is not afraid to share her love of the gospel. Happy Birthday! You really are a special girl to all of us Madisen. I remember holding you and feeding you with the special yellow bottle when you were a baby. You hold a special place in all of our hearts! Congrats on the honor roll and progressing to young womens! You really are a great example to all of us. We love you!

Yes I think my mom is the bestest mom in the universe. Well duh because she's my only mom I've ever had. Thank you mom for everything that you've done in my whole life. Thank you for the all the money that you've been spending on us to go to places like Londom. Like those WICKED tickets were about 600 euro or less then that because we of course have 6 people in are family.

Yes Young Womens is a complete Blast. I love it so much. This Friday were going to a german soccer game for the Activity. It's a combined activity so Young Men and Young Women. You know what Dawn I do enjoy growing up just like maddy. Dawn I wish you could be here too. I love you guys and thinking about you guys.
